TARDIS Redux

Dipping my toe in over at drawesome with the Challenge 38: Redux - redraw any of your previous artworks.

I went digging and found this on one of my old hard drives: a TARDIS Christmas card I painted in 2007 for my Doctor Who friends, and I thought that one could be fun to redo. (And, since my brain has been eaten by due South recently, it got me thinking about a crossover story where young Ben finds the TARDIS one night and meets the 12th Doctor.)

I haven't used acrylic paint in ages. It was fun, though I now wish I had used paper with less grain (or one of the canvas panels I have kicking around). I feel like I need practice with this medium, but it was fun to do!

Ooooh, I like it! I think the grainy paper works with the shadows on the snow. :) /not an artist
