I'm going to start searching for songs for a few possible rows and then see which one works best. The fields I'm eyeing at the moment are:

acoustic, pop/rock, cover song, blues, female vocals, a capella, sadness, romance, innocent, science, action, colors, character study, the chosen one, sidekick and guardian

So quite a few, but if you have any ideas for any of them I'm all ears!

For instance, for female vocals, I might suggest anything from Ella Fitzgerald to Big Mama Thornton, to Dessa, to Rasputina... the fandom would make all the difference as would the lyrics.

Great, many thanks! I’ll check those out. I haven’t decided on specific fandoms yet - I’ll listen to some songs and see what could fit.
